Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
Status: Full-Time
Location: Columbus, Georgia
Shift: Three 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p days, 7p-7a nights

Summary:
Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director, perform nursing patient care duties for the assigned unit or department. Plan, provide and evaluate total nursing care in accordance with the established patient care philosophy. Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units; and participate in all phases of education.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS preferred
- Valid RN licensure in Georgia or multistate/compact license
- Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire
- 1.5 years RN experience in a direct bedside patient care setting
- Experience in a behavioral health facility.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
