Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Master’s in Counseling Psychology, Masters in Mental Health Counseling, or Master in Marriage and Family Therapy required.
Five years’ experience in an upper-level management position in Mental Health.
Experience with the operations of behavioral health outpatient programs required, and experience with oversight of residential preferred.
Licensed LICSW, LMHC, LPC, and/or LMFT – if applicant holds an out-of-state license. A Washington State License must be obtained within a 6-month period.
Co-Occurring experience preferred. A Substance Use Disorder Certification (SUDP) Preferred.
Knowledge and familiarity of both Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders rules and regulations as they relate to governing, licensing, and funding agencies.
Ability to lead service delivery team of both professionals and entry-level staff.
Computer skills sufficient to carry out position duties.
Familiarity with the health and social issues facing the American Indian/Alaska Native population and a desire to serve this population.
Valid Washington state driver’s license and insured personal transportation to attend meetings locally.
Ability to attend occasional meetings out of town and on weekends or evenings.
Work Environment: Clinic hours are Monday-Friday during normal business hours, with evening hours (until 7:00pm) and some Saturdays. Duties may involve long hours performing sedentary work at computer terminal.
