A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Behavioral Health Counselor in Philadelphia, PA. The Behavioral Health Counselor will be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This is a full-time, contract assignment with the potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs. Behavioral Health Counselor Compensation

• The pay for this position is $34.00 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

• Provide group and individual treatment to patients in assigned program/facility.
• Develop and implement interventions as assigned under the supervision of professional behavioral/mental health staff.
• Counsel and encourage patients to participate in group and individual activities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings as assigned.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit appropriate documentation of all related activities and patient responses to treatment.
• Maintain an inventory of materials, ensuring they are safe and in good repair.
• Perform other duties as requested by administrative staff.

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in human services, social work, or psychology.
• Experience or certification as a mental health worker, activities technician, case manager, or group counselor preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain security clearance where applicable.
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.

• Prior experience in behavioral or mental health, drug/alcohol rehabilitation services is preferred.
