Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish, monitor, and update personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to patients with various behavioral health issues.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress.
- Develop and implement behavioral intervention strategies in line with best practice guidelines.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Educate patients and families about mental health and wellness, preventative care, medical conditions, and the use of prescribed treatments and drugs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Must have one of the following licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is required.
- Must have experience working with a diverse patient population, including individuals with complex behavioral health needs.
- Must have a strong understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches for a range of behavioral health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and team members.
- Must have strong clinical documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly preferred.
