Behavior Technician - Newaygo County Mental Health

Newaygo County Mental Health is accepting applications for a Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) supports to children and adults with Autism. Services are mainly provided at the agency's Autism Center, located in Fremont, Michigan.  Services may also be provided in client's residences or in the community. 

The Behavior Technician will be trained on individual ABA goal plans, which includes data collection by the Behavior Specialist, who will supervise this position for every 10 hours of direct services provided. This position will work closely with our Behavioral Specialist and will implement programs to clients 18 months up to 21 years of age, teaching communication, self-care and other adaptive skills.

This is a part time position 20-32 hours per week. High school diploma or equivalent and valid Michigan driver's license are required. Experience working with children or adults with disabilities preferred but not necessary.

Pay range is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience.
