Position Overview: As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work under the supervision of a BCBA to provide direct ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career as an RBT, as you’ll gain the skills and experience necessary to meet certification requirements.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 behavior therapy to clients in home, school, or community settings.
Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by the supervising BCBA.
Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behaviors during therapy sessions.
Collaborate with the BCBA to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Participate in regular training and supervision to ensure adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.
Communicate effectively with clients’ families and caregivers, providing updates on progress and strategies for generalization.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred).
Previous experience working with children (experience with special needs populations is a plus).

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to therapy locations.
Ability to pass a background check and obtain any required clearances.
