Earn: $36.30/Hour
The Behavior Specialist provides direct behavioral support to adults with autism in their homes and community settings. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting one-on-one behavioral observations and assessments
* Developing strategies based on assessment findings
* Creating individualized Behavior Support Plans
* Training and mentoring support staff as needed, under the clinical supervision of a master's-level human services professional or related field specialist
This role also ensures the effective creation, implementation, and documentation of Behavior Support Plans in alignment with each individual’s Support Plan.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Master’s degree in education, Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education or a related field AND a minimum of two years of experience with developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans
* Experience working with adults with IDD and with mental health diagnosis or autism spectrum disorder preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to support individuals with behavioral challenges required. Competency in writing supports plans, conducting assessments and effective verbal communication skills required. Capacity to train and mentor others needed. Ability to perform duties with limited supervision. Flexibility in scheduling and availability for onsite support.
