Our client, a global company that provides professional solutions and services in Waltham, is seeking a temporary Customer Service Representative. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with the hours being either 11am to 8pm or 12pm to 9pm ET. This role does have the opportunity to turn permanent, consisting of duties such as understanding the processes, products, and services that the company has to offer to deliver exceptional customer service. This position is compensating between $18 and $20 an hour depending on experience. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of systems, processes, products, services, and customers by attending and fully engaging in formal and informal training/ mentoring sessions
• Engage in self-directed learning
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of all systems, tools, templates, and processes used within the department
• Developing and maintaining relationships with internal teams
• Collaborating with peers and management to continuously improve
• Provide exceptional customer service by receiving and responding to inbound customer questions in a timely manner
• Provide comprehensive responses to customer inquiries and escalate advanced technical issues to technical support
• Escalate customer complaints to a manager or senior customer service representative, providing detailed background information for all escalations, ensuring the highest level of professionalism
• Maintaining timely and accurate records of all activities in accordance with company policy
• Promote and articulate the value and benefits of products and services, collecting information and securing orders for new customers, escalating potential enterprise leads to the sales team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
• 2-3 years of customer service in an e-commerce setting or retail field preferred
• Experience of customer interaction across multiple channels-email, chats, phones, website forms
• Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
• Demonstrating strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
• Utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Typing proficiency: 40-60 wpm
