POSITION: BCF Spinning Process Technician
Location: Cartersville, GA 30120
SUMMARY: While a job description may not fully encompass every detail of a position, the purpose of the following is to provide an outline of goals, responsibilities, ability and knowledge required in order to successfully perform this job. The BCF Spinning Technician is responsible for all product set-ups and maintains appropriate log documentation. The BCF Spinning Technician is responsible for the Run ability, and Quality for (Reiter, Neumag, and/or Swiss Tex equipment). The BCF Spinning Technician must insure the Quality/Production of the products that are being manufactured.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Making sure to follow all Safety Rules for Department and Entire Facility.
- Must be familiar with all Set-up's that run on (Reiter, Neumag, and/or Swiss Tex equipment).
- Must be familiar with Color/Product changes on all machines.
- Responsible for general housekeeping; including cleaning texturizers and godet rolls when needed.
- Perform online quality inspection of yarn (i.e. texture, air tack, winding, detex , etc.).
- Keeping appropriate log documentation for godet cleaning, texturizer, pack changes, tack boxes, etc.
- Inspecting Machine's and Work Areas are cleaned and wiped down at all times. (shop area cleaned, Floors swept/mopped, Trash emptied, organized Etc.)
- Ensure Change Overs are being performed in a timely manner by information gathered from schedule/tech sheet.
- Assisting supervisor and crew leaders with pack and pre-filter changes as needed.
- Responsible for Daily tension, Monomer, Quench, Vacuum, Texturizer, Cooling Drum, and etc. checks on equipment, Reiter, Neumag, Swiss Tex.
- Responsible for trouble shooting and performing mechanical repairs to all machinery.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Assist supervisors/Crew Leaders during spin pack/pre-filter changes when needed.
- Assist all other operators when needed when problem persist with their machine.
- Report any discrepancies to the Supervisor/Department Manager.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required combination on experience and education.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in a similar role
WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM 1st Shift 7AM-5PM With occasional overtime
- Monday – Sunday 7 AM-7 PM Rotating 2 on/2 off - A Shift
- Monday – Sunday 7 PM-7 AM Rotating 2 on/2 off - B Shift
- Monday – Sunday 7 AM-7 PM Rotating 2 on/2 off - C Shift
- Monday – Sunday 7 PM-7 AM Rotating 2 on/2 off - D Shift
