BC/BE Breast Medical Oncologist - New York Oncology Hematology

New York Oncology Hematology is currently looking to add an exceptional BC/BE breast medical oncologist to our subspecialty group.  This is a wonderful full- time opportunity.

NYOH is a large multispecialty practice in upstate New York with six free standing cancer centers around Albany. We have two large free standing comprehensive cancer centers, a hospital-based site and a few small quaint rural offices. We provide subspeciality oncology, hematology, stem cell, neuro-oncology, and GYN oncology.  We have recently built a 4 million dollar Womans Health Center in Albany that features state of the art breast imaging with ability to complete image guided biopsies.

• We are a progressive group and currently one of the few non-academic sites that have been accredited to perform CAR-T therapy in the United States.
• Although a private practice, we are the sole providers of hematology/oncology care at Albany Medical Center, which is the largest tertiary care/ academic center in eastern upstate NY.
• As a part of our association, our providers have academic appointments and are proud teachers of medical students and residents.
• We have a robust research department with phase 1-3 trials available (NRG access).
• We are part of a large research consortium with McKesson and Sarah Cannon.
• Most importantly, we are an organization that prides ourselves on the exceptional quality of our providers and the care that they have delivered to thousands of patients yearly.

The practice captures 75% of the new cancer patient volume in our area and has a current growth of 3-4% annually. We have a large referral base of breast surgeons in Eastern New York.  Three of our centers have linacs (Varian True Beam with OSMS and Identify) and we provide full radiation oncology services. 

New York Oncology Hematology is the proud host of the Annual Breast Cancer Symposium, a 3 day 20 credit CME accredited educational symposium bringing in world class national speakers covering medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, updates in innovative science and how it translates to the clinic, updates in ancillary services and palliative care.
