Description:
- Oversee and operate packaging equipment to ensure that all specific functions conform to process and procedure specifications.
- Operate mixing equipment.
- Responsible for documentation of items mixed.
- Handle basic maintenance repairs to equipment as well as loading and unloading within safety parameters.
- Perform line changeovers, equipment adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Ensure that packaged products meet quality standards of customers including but not limited to weight tolerances, overall appearance, DOT labeling and batch/identification numbers.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Batch Making/Admix experience is preferred.
- Must have previous forklift experience.
- Must have good math skills including the ability to work with fractions, decimals and percentages.
