Summary of Responsibilities: The bartenders' primary responsibility is to welcome guests, take orders, and prepare and serve food and beverage items to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner following quality standards. The bartender must maintain supplies and follow hotel cleanliness and sanitation guidelines. Primary Responsibilities and Objectives: Greet, welcome, and interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner Take orders, prepare drinks according to recipes, and serve all food and beverage requests in the bar Demonstrate complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu Prepare the bar for service by ensuring bar supplies, garnishes, and utensils are properly set up per quality standards Inventory unused liquor and beverages. Ensure that all liquor is properly secured before, during, and at the close of the shift Adhere to all cash handling and credit card policies and procedures. Ensure that all drink orders from servers are accurately rung into the P.O.S.
