Bartender (PT) - Schulte Companies

Memoir Residential is looking for a hospitality-oriented and service-minded Bartender (Part-Time) to join our team.

ABOUT MEMOIR RESIDENTIAL

Memoir is a collection of dynamic multifamily residential properties throughout the U.S., combining hospitality and design expertise with flexible leasing options. Memoir Residential creates meaningful places to live within storied neighborhoods. The first community will open in May 2024 in Nashville, followed by Portland, New Orleans, Austin, and Miami.

Memoir cultivates meaningful residential living experiences for creative, curious people who appreciate great design. Amenities include food and beverage programming, entertaining areas, swimming pools, fitness studios, bicycle storage, pet grooming stations, and co-working spaces.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Ensures bar is set up with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, syrups, soda, etc. 

* Prep any syrups or items needed for shift

* Ensures that the bar, glasses, and cutlery are clean and sanitized. 

* Be able to make all espresso based drinks

* Ensures guests are of legal age to consume alcohol and follow our Alcohol Policy at all times.

* Prepares drink orders according to bar standards and customers' preferences. 

* Presents bar bill and takes payment. 

* Ensures guests are engaged and satisfied. 

* Monitors customers for overconsumption of alcohol and takes steps as necessary. 

* Be able to prep, plate, and serve simple food items.

* Maintains public spaces, including pool, lobby, and F&B spaces.

* Locks up and stores all beverage, food, and other equipment items, deposits cash drops, and secures bank. 

* Other duties as assigned. 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* High School Diploma/GED

* Knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards 

* Ability to communicate effectively verbally 

* Team player 

* Ability to exceed the expectations of guests 

* Detail-oriented 

* TIPS certified, or the ability to obtain it

* Food Handlers Certified, or the ability to obtain it
