Salary Range: $16.00 Min Wage to $20.00 per hour (DOE and state)

Maintains the quality and integrity of all wine, beer, cocktails, and soft beverages produced at the bar and service stations. Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar, including side work, stocking, polishing glassware, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Report for duty on time, clocking in for your shift using the time clock.
- Manage your time, including resting and meal breaks, in compliance with New York Labor Law; keep managers informed when you leave the floor.
- Maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene at all times, including clean hair and nails and no heavy perfumes or colognes.
- Adhere to all health, safety, alcohol control, and sanitation protocols.
- Know our regulars and encourage new guests to become regulars by establishing a rapport that includes the guests' likes and dislikes.
- Act with integrity and honesty, and alert management to any and all issues that may arise with a guest.
- Take guests' food and beverage orders, Coursing, utilize salesmanship techniques, and make appropriate recommendations.
- Input orders into POS system, correctly.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar.
- Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
- Properly mark all bar guests for each course in advance of delivery of food to the bar.
- Clearly communicate with all service staff and management throughout your shift to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Prepare the Bar for opening and closing of each shift; stocking, cleaning, and preparing.
- Complete all assigned side work pre- and post-shift.
- *Each bar is responsible for their-own bank.
- Ensure that all cash is handled correctly, and that correct change is given.
- Follow all responsible alcohol practices, including carding all guests who appear under the age of 40.
- Attending training and pre-shift meetings.
- Responsible for in-depth knowledge of the cocktail menu and wine list, assisting guests with ingredient knowledge, pairings, etc.
- Responsible for in-depth knowledge of the food menu, ingredients in each dish, vendors and farmers, etc.
- Responsible for communicating all guest allergies with a manager.
- Fully understand the floorplan, table numbers, and seat positions of the entire venue.
- Supporting the management team in all aspects of in-house service and events
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, and walk for an extended period (8-12 hours).
