BARBACK
Reporting to the Restaurant Leader, the Barback is responsible for ensuring consistent order behind the bar, assisting in the preparation of bar-related goods, and maintaining proper stock and storage of tools, supplies, and products, while providing a warm and genuine service to guests. They have a positive attitude, a strong interest in wine, spirits, and cocktails, and want to grow and expand their knowledge.

- Create an environment that is warm, welcoming, and filled with positivity for guests and employees
- Uphold our standards at all times and treat everyone with courtesy and respect
- Maintain a pristine bar
- Ensure stock levels are consistently maintained, polishing glassware and silverware, and performing additional side work, as assigned
- Maintain a constant presence on the floor, clearing and cleaning tables, removing service items and condiments as needed with a focus on glassware.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Perform any general cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager to adhere to health standards
- Complete closing duties, as assigned, including, however not limited to: Properly storing goods; breakdown of all food & beverage stations; restocking of items for next service
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the management team

- 1-year experience in a similar, fast-paced environment with similar standards

- Genuine interest in the bar/beverage offerings
- Thrive in a team-centric environment and strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated, energetic personality, with a genuine desire to connect with guests
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Smart Serve Certification a requirement
- Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality, WSET, Prud’homme, or equivalent considered an asset
- Full-time flexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, holidays) or as agreed with your hiring manager
