About the Job
The Banquet Coordinator provides administrative and service support to our Group Sales Manager and Food & Beverage Department for group and event bookings. Responsibilities include banquet/event setup, execution, and cleanup, BEO creation, staff training, and other related duties. This position will pay $10 per hour plus tips.
Responsibilities:Banquet Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and according to plan
- Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff, to ensure they adhere to company standards and provide exceptional service
- Direct banquet staff during events, assigning duties, and providing guidance to ensure efficient and professional service
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during events, making quick decisions to resolve them and maintain guest satisfaction
- Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event details, expectations, and any special requirements to the team
- Provide ongoing support and direction to staff throughout events, addressing any performance issues or training needs as necessary
- Interact with guests during events, ensuring their needs are met and any requests are handled promptly and professionally
- Keep management informed of event progress and challenges, providing regular updates as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

- Prior experience serving/bartending
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively via
- email and phone with proper etiquette
