We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Banquet Sous Chef to help lead our culinary team as we elevate our banquet operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Banquet Sous Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our banquet and event guests. Working closely team, you will:
- Lead the kitchen team in preparing, cooking, and presenting banquet menu items with precision and creativity.
- Ensure all food served meets our high standards for quality, flavor, and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Event and Banquet teams to design and execute menus tailored to each event.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation schedules and plating guidelines for events.
- Train, mentor, and supervise banquet kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels, reduce food waste, and control food costs to align with budgetary goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen that adheres to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for a talented and passionate Banquet Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and shares our commitment to creating memorable guest experiences. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience: At least 3+ years of culinary experience, including leadership in banquet or catering operations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to train and inspire a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Culinary Expertise: Strong knowledge of banquet operations, menu development, and food presentation.
- Organization: Excellent time-management skills to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Passion: A dedication to delivering top-tier dining experiences with a creative, guest-focused mindset.
