Job Summary:
This position is accountable for creating a great experience for every guest. This position requires a general knowledge of the job, hard work, and great social skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Place tableware properly (placing silverware, B&B plates, glasses, napkins, salt & peppers, sugars, creamers, cushions, etc.)
2. Provide assistance in beverage service, parking, bridal party set up, salt & peppers, cutting of lemons, restock restrooms and brief overview of room.

4. Check post-wedding duties

5. Once ceremony has finished start your post-wedding duties.
6. Greet persons entering organization with a cheerful disposition.
7. Provide excellent customer service, and knowledge of your job.
8. Once cocktail hour has ended, ask Banquet Coordinator if any special elements need to be completed.

9. Continue clearing B&B plates, dinner plates, and empty glasses.
10. Banquet Coordinator will assign certain staff members to pour champagne and cider for the toast.
11. Once Buffet or Serving Duties have been completed, Banquet Coordinator will send 1st break on their 30 min break. Once 1st break has returned, the Banquet Coordinator will send 2nd break on their 30 min break.
12. Make sure cake and coffee has been served to every guest, and remaining cake placed on the cake table
13. For the remainder of time all staff will clear salt and peppers, napkins, table numbers, and any empty or unclean tableware.
14. Once informed by Banquet Coordinator take 2nd 10 min break.
15. Once event has concluded clear remaining glasses, tableware, trash and etc.
16. Start assigned duties and inform Banquet Coordinator when completed.
Job Specifications:
1. Work requires the ability to cheerfully communicate with customers to provide an environment that is welcoming and friendly.
2. Work requires expert knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
3. Work requires knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
4. Work requires intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
5. Works requires the knowledge of Grand Tradition product and service offerings in order to clearly and accurately communicate with potential customers the value of such products and services.
6. Work requires a thorough knowledge of department policies, practices, and operations, and oral communication skills to perform routine administrative duties such as arranging meetings, responding to routine inquiries from telephone callers or visitors, and gathering background information for routine reports.
7. Work requires the ability to analyze routine administrative details of limited complexity such as resolving minor scheduling conflicts of tours, assignment of event coordinator events, and other conflicts.
8. Work requires professional personal presentation as stated in company policy manual.
The above knowledge and skills normally are acquired through completion of a high school education, plus two years of work experience as a receptionist within the a strong customer service oriented organization. This knowledge is also acquired within two months of on-the-job training.
