ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring for part-time and on-call Banquet Server Assistants to join our Banquets team. The Banquet Server Assistant is to provide all Members and guests with an exceptional dining experience throughout private Club events. This goal will be accomplished through working seamlessly with team members throughout service, providing water and bread service at start of service, assisting Servers in table clearing and resetting, organizing bussed trays and assisting with all Member and guests requests in a timely and effective manner.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Banquet Server Assistant must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Food & Beverage Banquet Director and Banquet Captains, including but not limited to:

• Set-up for event in accordance with Club standards and event plan
• Provide water and bread service at start of event
• Monitor water levels throughout service, refilling as needed
• Complete side duties throughout service, including but not limited to restocking side station with silverware, glassware and linens
• Complete supply requisitions from storeroom as needed
• Assist Server in proper clearing of courses, resetting as needed
• Manage bussed dishes, assuring organization and proper delivery to steward station
• Assist Servers throughout coffee service Assist with Member and guests requests as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Must have ability to work weekends and holidays, primarily including but not limited to Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Eve
• Must be customer service-minded, with ability to assist where and when needed throughout service
• Must possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-centered environment
• Must maintain a friendly, professional and helpful presence at all times
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with Members and guests, team members and Management
• Must be knowledgeable, or have demonstrated ability to learn, hospitality and culinary terms Basic mathematical skills preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

PAY RANGE

$17.25 hourly compensation
