Party planning is your forte, but so is getting down to business. As the Banquet Manager, you will support the banquet team in day-to-day operations. You will work with the other hotel team members to provide the most efficient and professional services. In addition, your role will contribute to exceeding Hilton’s guest service scores and ensure that the department impacts overall profitability.

What you will be doing:
- Assist in coordinating banquet operations, including scheduling personnel, managing service needs, and ensuring timely communication with food production.
- Uphold the highest standards of banquet service quality, guest relations, and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate banquet records, including function reports and banquet checks.
- Ensure adequate inventory of banquet supplies and oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and sanitation within the department.
- Respond promptly to guest needs and ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and union guidelines.
- Monitor departmental costs, control expenses, and operate within budgeted guidelines.
- Support the Director of Banquets in evaluating associate performance and maintaining personnel records.
- Conduct training, onboarding, and orientation to ensure associates meet departmental expectations.
- Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to promote a harmonious working environment.
- Conduct and attend meetings, including departmental, F&B, BEO, safety, and department head meetings.
- Promote safety practices, support emergency action plans, and maintain security protocols.
- Execute special projects and additional duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills through phone are required.
- Previous guest service, hotel/hospitality, receptionist, customer service, front desk or administrative experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Able to work independently, has good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
