As our Banquets Chef, you'll take the lead in crafting exceptional culinary experiences, overseeing food preparation, production, and managing labor and food costs across all outlets and banquet operations. Your expertise will ensure every dish reflects the hotel's unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.

What you will be doing:
- Develop innovative menus and banquet themes aligned with food trends, industry standards, client budgets, and seasonal pricing; collaborate with the Director of Operations on changes.
- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising culinary staff; ensure adherence to productivity standards, cost controls, and forecast needs.
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients, analyze feedback, and implement improvements; lead monthly culinary meetings.
- Monitor staff performance, product quality, and workflow; address areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health codes, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards; audit food storage and enforce kitchen protocols.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; organize team-building events for corporate clients.
- Assist with food budgeting, vacation scheduling, equipment repair coordination, and other duties as required.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma required; minimum of 2 years of formal culinary schooling and 2 years as an Executive Chef in a high-volume facility.
- Ability to obtain Serve Safe certification; CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of menu development, food products, standard recipes, marketing, cost control, and wage management.
- Strong mathematical skills for interpreting budgets and reports; proficiency in computer operations and inventory/menu software.
- Ability to analyze data, forecast production needs, and manage payroll effectively.
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs., work in confined spaces and extreme temperatures, and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English; conduct meetings and maintain clear communication with staff and leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, customer service, and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise large teams and handle high-pressure situations.

Salary Estimate: $60,000-$65,000
