Position: Banquet Bartender
Reports To: Banquet Captain/Banquet Manager
Position Summary:
Houston Oaks is excited to welcome a passionate individual to our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating memorable experiences for our Membership while nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment rooted in integrity, community, and harmony. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional bar service during banquets, events and other functions, all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
• Set up and stock bar areas for events.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and their guests.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Follow all liquor laws and regulations.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Any other duties, as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
• Experience working as a bartender, preferably in a high-volume setting.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service that makes a difference to our Membership.
• Abilit to work efficiently and multi-task.
Working Conditions:
• You will be working in variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold).
• You may experience variable noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to mix multiple drink types.
• Standing, bending and twisting for most of the workday.
• Remain in stationary positions for 30 minutes throughout the work shift.
