Bankruptcy Paralegal - The Goodkind Group, LLC

A law firm in Newark, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal. The paralegal will support the Bankruptcy Attorneys in their everyday activity. Responsible for preparing and filing various legal documents, conducting research and support in all types of bankruptcy transactions.

Essential Functions

• Bankruptcy Paralegal with a strong background and able to work independently and with clients and third parties to resolve/finalize issues

• Follow up and check on status of bankruptcy cases

• Docket relevant information and future follow-up dates

• Perform bankruptcy search on various databases and docket results

• Drafting and/or reviewing related documents

• Assist with electronic court filings and various bankruptcy motions

• Any other duties as necessary or required

Competencies

• 5 years of Bankruptcy Paralegal experience in a Law Firm

• Extraordinary attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and complete a high volume of work in a timely manner

• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while consistently delivering quality work product

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, both individually and within a team setting

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel and iManage

Education

Associates/Bachelors Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
