About the Job
Growing law firm is seeking a highly-qualified Bankruptcy Paralegal to join their busy team! Must be experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented, self starter to support various Partners/Associates. Must have current law firm experience in Bankruptcy Litigation.
Responsibilities:
-Will handle all facets of bankruptcy cases, including client contact and attorney support.
-Will analyze due diligence materials regarding all aspects of a company's business operations.
-Assist with the preparation and filing of petitions, and perform legal research, especially on the Uniform Commercial Code.
-Conduct corporate background searches with the Secretary of State.
-Strong e-filing experience.
-Will assist attorneys representing Debtors, Creditors, and creditor Committees in large, complex Chapter 11 restructuring cases in a team environment.
-Law firm experience preferred.
Qualifications:
-Possess a minimum of 5-6 years+ of experience working on commercial bankruptcy matters as a paralegal in Texas.
-Paralegal certification preferred.
-Bachelor's degree is a plus!

Salary: $85,000-90,000 DOE

Salary: $ 80,000.00 90,000.00 Per Year
