Reputable firm in Woodland Hills is seeking an experienced bankruptcy case manager with 5 + years of experience to join their team! The hours for this role is specifically 10:00AM-7:00PM Monday-Friday. Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel). This position pays $35-$41/hour DOE. Please review the requirements and apply!
Requirements for this position:
- Review, prepare and process data received from clients for the schedules and SOFA's.
- Create and update schedules and SOFA's tracking sheet and circulate to clients on a regular basis.
- Communicate with clients any items that are outstanding for completion of the schedules and SOFA's.
- Send drafts of the Schedules and SOFAs throughout the preparation process for the clients to review. Prepare amended Schedules and SOFAs as requested by clients.
- Review Disclosure Statement and Plan for details on voting parties, balloting, and the solicitation package.
- Create template for Plan Class Report for IT to populate and send report to client for approval.
- Delegate incoming work and follow up with team members on status of completion.
- Review AOS's as requested by Noticing team. Support Claims and Noticing teams as needed.
- Serve as point of contact for clients on assigned cases and handle emails and phone calls accordingly.
Qulifications:
- Five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Access and Word)
- Bankruptcy experience or project management experience preferred; legal assistant/paralegal/other position with bankruptcy experience and/or exposure to interpreting legal documents a plus.
Parking is covered.
Hours is from 10:00AM-7:00PM.
Temp to hire position: $35-$41/hour DOE
