About the Job
Duties: Responsible for marketing and implementation of investment, banking, and fiduciary solutions to Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) clients in/from Mexico using Spanish language. Leverage and coordinate specialists to advise UHNW Mexican clients on defining and implementing portfolio investment strategy, structuring and executing credit and lending transactions, and defining and implementing succession and fiduciary plans. Engage resources to deliver a complete wealth advisory solution that culminates in a positive client experience, ensuring that proposed solutions and services achieve the clients' needs, goals, and objectives. Drive UHNW Mexican private client acquisition and retention, communicating in Spanish a broad knowledge of economics, investments, banking, financing, and financial and fiduciary planning. Build trust with clients and effectively manage relationships. Perform market analysis and research to identify and contact Mexican private business owners who can become UHNW private clients. Use Spanish language to advise private business owners on business and economic trends, anticipated consequences of economic policies, and outlook of financial markets, as well as to advise clients on evolution of macroeconomic trends including growth, inflation, employment, interest rates, fiscal and monetary policies. Understand regulatory changes and new personal tax legislation and advice clients about anticipated impact of evolving policies. Use Spanish language to contact, prospect, and convert private business owners to new private clients. Manage each account to ensure that the client has a completed profile, is introduced to the appropriate product specialists, and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced. Perform all necessary duties to maintain in good order the company's books and records with respect to private clients, including fulfilling know-your-client (KYC) duties, observing cross-border regulations, collecting and updating client information, and addressing anti-money laundering obligations. This position requires up to 25% domestic & international travel to various client sites and internal trainings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, or related field of study plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Finance Director, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Investment Portfolio/Relationship Manager, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Finance Director, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Investment Portfolio/Relationship Manager, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: achieving financial sales success facing Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) private clients; obtaining referrals of prospective Mexican clients, prospecting UHNW Mexican individuals, and converting prospects with portfolios of market value of at least $25 million to clients; relationship management and team management; asset allocation, portfolio construction and portfolio reviews; marketing of traditional portfolio investments including equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, securities and mutual funds; marketing of options and derivatives including equity options, interest rate derivatives and foreign exchange derivatives; marketing of alternative investments including private equity funds and hedge funds; marketing of deposit solutions, margin loans and structured loans; basic trust and estate planning advisory and identification of wealth and succession planning opportunities; connections within Mexican private banking UHNW individuals and Mexican family-owned business community; relationship with Mexican professional centers of influence, such as Mexican law firms, Mexican tax advisors, and Mexican multi-family advisor community; managing and developing relationships with UHNW clients in Mexico; political, economic, and business environment in Mexico; Mexico corporate law; and Mexico personal tax concepts. This position requires oral, auditory, and written fluency in the Spanish language.
Job Location: 1450 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. This position requires up to 25% domestic & international travel to various client sites and internal trainings. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
