We are seeking a passionate and innovative Bakery Application Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This permanent role offers a thrilling opportunity to bring your food science expertise to the forefront of the baking industry, developing and implementing groundbreaking bakery applications that will redefine the future of baked goods.
Responsibilities:
As a Bakery Application Specialist, your day-to-day tasks will be as varied as they are exciting. Key responsibilities will include:
1. Leveraging your food science knowledge to develop and implement innovative bakery applications, with a focus on enhancing flavor and ingredient profiles.
2. Working closely with our research and development team to conduct pilot scale and commercial production trials, ensuring the seamless transition of new products from the lab to the market.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure our bakery applications meet customer needs and align with our business objectives.
4. Staying on top of the latest industry trends and advancements in food science and bakery technology, using this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in our bakery applications.
5. Providing technical support and guidance to our production teams, ensuring the successful implementation of our bakery applications on the production floor.
6. Leading training sessions for staff and stakeholders on our bakery applications, ensuring a strong understanding of their benefits and uses.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in food science and a passion for the bakery industry. Key qualifications include:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry, with a focus on bakery applications.
3. Proven experience in flavor and ingredient development, with a strong understanding of the science behind creating delicious and innovative baked goods.
4. Demonstrated experience in conducting pilot scale and commercial production trials, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with bringing new products to market.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to effectively convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
7. A passion for staying on top of the latest industry trends and advancements in food science and bakery technology, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
