Title - Sr. Software EngineerLocation - Urbandale, IAREMOTE (In CST Time Zone)Prefers this position works from Des Moines area; Remote can be considered butneeds to work in Central Time zone.This position works as a software engineer onthe John Deere Operations Center product providing the backend APIs andintegration services needed to support this critical product.This position workswith the engineering lead and tech leads to analyze requirements, prepare designspecifications, implementation and integration of features.This positionprovides implementation of medium to complex features and of medium to largesize modules.This position works on continuous improvement projects(performance, quality, cost) based on specialized knowledge of engineeringapplications.This position leads in resolution of medium to difficult technicalissues.This position leads in resolution of production issues in timely mannerbased on SLAsISG Data Platform is looking for passionate developers to supportproducts in the Machine area.REQUIRED:4+ years of experience in back-enddevelopment with expertise in developing highly available, reliable APIs thatare public facingExperience in JAVA 8 (or above) , Springboot, Hibernate andvarious design patterns.Well versed in Agile practices like test-drivendevelopment (TDD), ATDD, continuous integration (CI), pairing.Experience ofContinuous Integration tool configuration and operation like Drone or GithubActionGood working knowledge and hand-on experience on AWS platform and relatedcloud technologiesExperience on Code versioning tools like GithubExcellentanalytical skills and problem-solving abilitiesJava test will be part of theinterview process.PREFERRED: Spring Data, Redis/Memcache, AWS certification.
