Backend Developer at Veracity Consulting

Currently, we are searching for a Backend Developer to join our team in a 100% remote capacity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems and APIs using the .NET framework (C# preferred).
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in T-SQL to interact with relational databases (SQL Server).
• Implement backend services and APIs that integrate with third-party systems, databases, and front-end applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following best practices in software development and coding standards.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, including database queries, server-side logic, and response times.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and alignment of backend systems with the overall product.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues or bugs and provide ongoing maintenance and support for backend systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for backend code, processes, and APIs.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Strong experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, etc.) and related frameworks.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and experience with database design, query optimization, and performance tuning in SQL Server.
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining backend systems and services.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, indexing, and query optimization for large datasets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
