Backend Developer - Inceed

Backend Developer
Compensation: $50 - $75/ hour
Location: Fully Remote

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Backend Developer to join their team! This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on cutting-edge technology in a fully remote environment, supporting the development of modern microservices and serverless applications. The role is a long-term contract with the potential for hire, must be able to work in mountain time zone. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer who thrives in independent, fast-paced work environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain microservices and event-based systems to support scalable application architecture.
• Utilize JavaScript/TypeScript to design, implement, and optimize backend systems.
• Leverage cloud platforms (Azure preferred) to build and deploy serverless applications.
• Integrate ORM tools such as Sequelize for efficient database interactions.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure software quality and performance align with project goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless app development.
• Expertise with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
• Experience using ORM frameworks (e.g., Sequelize).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of React or experience with full-stack development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
