Job Title: Back Office Medical Assistant Floater
Job Description
The Floater will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. This role supports clinicians and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating patients. The medical assistant floater is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. This floating employee will be working in various offices to support either in the MA role or dedicated lab functions.
Responsibilities
+ Perform quality team-based patient care under direct supervision of a clinician.
+ Support clinicians and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating patients.
+ Perform all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
+ Float from one location to another as patient queue demands.
+ Communicate and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
+ Assess emergencies and act accordingly.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41288.00 - $51043.00
