Back of House Team Member (Full Time) - Chick-fil-A

At Chick-fil-A Miami Shores, the Back of House (Kitchen) Team Member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity! In addition to working directly for an independent, franchised Operator, Back of House Team Members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food.

Note: the restaurant is tentatively scheduled to open in June 2024.

Position Type:

• Full-time (30+ hours per week)

Compensation:

• $13 an hour with limited availability / schedule restrictions ($14 an hour if you purchase your own uniforms ~$150)
• $14 an hour with open availability / no schedule restrictions ($15 an hour if you purchase your own uniforms ~$150)
• Earn a $0.25 raise per quarter assuming no performance issues
• Within 1 month of opening, approximately 20 Team Members will be promoted to Team Leader ($16-17 an hour) based on performance
• Within 2 months of opening, approximately 10 Team Leaders will be promoted to Shift Leader ($18-19 an hour) based on performance and leadership
• Within 3 months of opening, approximately 2 Shift Leaders will be promoted to Manager ($20-21 an hour) based on performance, leadership and problem-solving ability

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble safe food fast and accurately
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A food safety standards
• Be knowledgeable of all kitchen stations including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Keep the kitchen clean and orderly at all times
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Work safely around kitchen equipment
• Report maintenance issues to leadership
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
