Position Overview:
As a Back of House Shift Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food quality and service standards are consistently met. You’ll lead a team of kitchen staff, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Your leadership will be key in creating a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Manage and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Food Quality: Monitor food preparation processes to ensure that Chick-fil-A’s high standards for food quality and safety are consistently met.
- Training: Train new kitchen staff on company procedures, food safety standards, and equipment usage.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and managing waste.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Customer Service: Address any customer concerns related to food quality or service, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment, with at least 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
