Job Description
CDM Smith’s Knoxville office is looking for a Survey Field Crew Team Member Intern to join the team! You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading surveyors and engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. Are you ready to take the next step in your career? During this internship you will work with our Surveying and Transportation team conducting field surveys of a variety of transportation projects including bridge as-builts, state and local roadway improvement projects, mutli-use greenway projects, and streetscape improvement projects. Our survey team utilizes some of the most advanced surveying technology to measure and collect data e.g. robotic total station, RTK GPS, static laser scanner and sUAS lidar drone. You will perform routine functions and assist our survey team with property records research, utility infrastructure research, and measuring and collecting field survey data that will include survey control, topography, as-builts and right-of-way/property line surveys.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree.
