GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is an office support specialist in the Land Quality Division’s Uranium Recovery Program (URP). Under limited supervision, the successful candidate will perform a variety of office management, records management, communication, scheduling, and general organizational duties. This person will be a self-starter with a great work ethic, organizational skills and customer service abilities.

- Act as the main point of contact for the URP. Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
- Performs administrative and support duties that include filing, scanning and tracking of information.
- Assist staff with travel arrangements, training and conference registrations, and voucher preparation.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of assigned projects or functions, as well as the office maintenance and inventory.
- Help with planning, coordinating, and facilitating meetings.
- Create, edit, and peer review reports and documents for management.
- Format and print documents for signature.
- Management and oversight of office equipment and supplies.
- Management of digital records.
- Management and tracking of training records for review by the URP manager
- Responsible for processing, filing, maintenance, and quality control of records and documents.
