B2B Enterprise Software Appointment Setter / Business Development Representative (BDR) - Enteros, Inc

Job Brief:

Enteros, Inc. seeks a highly motivated and energetic B2B Enterprise Software Appointment Setter / Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. In this role, you will generate and qualify prospects for our cutting-edge database performance management solution, Enteros UpBeat. You will reach out to prospective clients, understand their needs, and schedule appointments for our Sales Account Executives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, data analysis skills, digital literacy, and a passion for connecting with potential customers in the enterprise software market.



Responsibilities:

1. Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, SMS, and social media outreach, to qualify new prospects and set appointments for the sales team.


2. Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers and recommenders, such as C-level executives, VPs, Directors, DBAs, and DevOps engineers.


3. Develop a deep understanding of Enteros UpBeat's features, benefits, and unique selling points to communicate its value proposition effectively to potential customers.


4. Analyze and interpret sales data to identify trends and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.


5. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted prospecting campaigns, leveraging marketing materials, case studies, and product information.


6. Stay current with and adapt to new sales technologies, such as sales automation or AI-driven prospecting tools.


7. Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for the Sales Executives, ensuring a seamless handoff and a positive customer experience.


8. Develop and maintain an early-stage sales pipeline, tracking leads from initial contact through qualification.


9. Ensure data accuracy in the CRM system, updating lead status as they move through the sales process.


10. Consistently meet or exceed appointment setting and lead generation targets.


11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to continuously improve your prospecting and lead generation strategies.


12. Provide daily summaries of activities, including the number of calls made, the number of individuals spoken with, and any objections or concerns raised during these conversations.


13. Attend brief daily or weekly meetings to discuss potential challenges, review pipeline, answer questions, and exchange information with other team members.


14. Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, lead statuses, and follow-up actions in the company's CRM system.

Skills Required:

1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.


2. 1-2 years of experience in a B2B sales, appointment setting, or business development role, preferably in the enterprise software or technology sector.


3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.


4. Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).


5. Data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.


6. Digital literacy, with the ability to adapt to new sales technologies.


7. Resilience, adaptability, empathy, and emotional intelligence.


8. Understanding of customer success principles such as customer retention, expansion, and advocacy.


9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.


10. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.


11. Familiarity with database performance management, cloud technologies, and the IT ecosystem is a plus.

This is a 1099 contractor position.

Payment:

Mutually agreed cash base, incentive compensation, and optional performance-based bonuses
