Client Overview:
Our client is a luxury global food manufacturer with U.S. Headquarters based in West Orange, New Jersey. They are looking to add a B2B Customer Service Representative to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$23/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented B2B Customer Service Representative to manage the entire order processing cycle while maintaining positive client relationships. The ideal candidate for the B2B Customer Service Representative position will have 3+ years of B2B Customer Service experience and strong SAP (or other ERP) skills.
Responsibilities of the B2B Customer Service Representative:
- Use SAP to process orders and manage the entire order processing cycle from PO receipt through final delivery; manage returns, credits, and claims.
- Maximize on-time shipping, delivery, and fill rates.
- Minimize non-compliance claims – over shipments, short shipments, and damages.
- Meet with key customers to review performance, streamline order processing, and address issues. Answer questions, solve problems, and handle complaints.
- Create reports and analysis to support customer service & logistics; suggest any cost savings and process improvements through this analysis.
- Track shipments through warehouses and carriers using Excel and SAP.
- Communicate well both outside and within the organization – Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and IT.
Qualifications for the B2B Customer Service Representative:
- 3+ years of customer service experience in consumer goods.
- SAP within the CPG industry is required. EDI is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency (v-lookup, pivot tables).
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Clear understanding of supply chain and warehouse best practices.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
