Industrial Ladder Supply Co. Inc., a leader in distribution and upfitting for residential, commercial, and industrial industries, is seeking an Inside/Outside Sales Representative to join our South Hackensack, NJ location. In this role, your primary focus will be on building relationships and driving sales in the truck and van upfitting market, targeting auto dealerships, leasing companies, and fleet managers. You'll manage the full sales cycle, including in-person sales calls and delivery route management, ensuring customers get the best products and service. - Sales Focus: Truck and Van Upfitting
- Develop and maintain relationships with auto dealerships, leasing companies, fleet managers, and other key players in the truck and van upfitting market.
- Promote Industrial Ladder & Supply Co.'s truck and van upfitting solutions, including customized racks, shelving, and storage systems.
- Conduct on-site consultations to understand customer needs and recommend tailored upfitting solutions.
- Stay informed about trends and innovations in the truck and van upfitting industry to offer the best solutions.
- Inside and Outside Sales
- Understand and effectively communicate Industrial Ladder Supply Co.'s full product and service offerings.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, quotes, and sales transactions, delivering exceptional service both in-person and over the phone.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and manage product installations with the installation team.
- Conduct local and regional deliveries while maintaining strong client relationships through in-person sales visits.
- Operations Support
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation for all sales and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in the warehouse and during customer interactions.
- Perform warehouse tasks, including stocking inventory, pulling items for delivery, and ensuring accurate truck and trailer loading.
- Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- At least one year of sales and delivery experience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- 2+ years of Customer Service experience.
- Preferred:
- Experience in truck and van upfitting (e.g., working with auto dealerships, leasing companies, or competitor upfitters).
- Background in sales or customer service in related industries.
- Proficiency in bilingual communication (English/Spanish).
- 1+ years of Sales experience.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Proficiency with GPS and route planning for efficient customer visits.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively.
