Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager who will report to the VP of Client Solutions. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships, ensuring their satisfaction, and maximizing revenue opportunities. You will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and your assigned portfolio of clients, proactively understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client business goals and strategies. - Account Growth:
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities to increase account revenue. Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and solutions to meet client needs. - Sales & Revenue:
Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts. Negotiate contracts and pricing in alignment with company objectives and client budgets. - Client Onboarding & Training:
Ensure smooth onboarding for new clients, providing training and support on products or services to ensure clients derive maximum value. - Problem Resolution:
Address client concerns and issues in a timely manner, coordinating with internal teams to provide effective solutions and maintain customer satisfaction. - Reporting & Analysis:
Track key account metrics, monitor account health, and provide regular updates to management. Conduct periodic reviews with clients to discuss performance, challenges, and future strategies. - Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless client service and satisfaction. Provide feedback to internal teams to enhance product/service offerings. - Market Research & Industry Trends:
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings to provide informed recommendations to clients and help shape account strategies.
Required Knowledge, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel as required by the role.
- Experience in (insert specific industry, if relevant).
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-driven.
