About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Provide infrastructure support for Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, SAN/storage platforms, and Active Directory (AD).
- Manage On-Prem and Azure Cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to build and release.
- Administer networking support for switches, routers, firewall, telephony, and VPN infrastructure.
- Work on multiple projects concurrently, adapting to shifting priorities and constraints.
- Support all internally developed applications across three lines of business.
- Participate in outage resolution and develop root cause analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Document procedures and create knowledge base articles for team support.
- Participate in planning and implementing infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with relevant coursework.
- Minimum five years of related work experience in virtual server environments, enterprise storage, networking, firewalls, cloud computing, application solutions, or Microsoft directory services.
- Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Azure administration and resource management.
- Experience with Terraform for authoring and executing infrastructure changes.
- Familiarity with IIS and JBoss application servers.
- Shell scripting skills.
- Ability to administer servers (virtual & physical), network (router, switch, firewall, load balancer), storage, backup, and Active Directory.
- Strong problem-solving and technology troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple levels and departments.
- Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to interpret and convey complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic environment.
