Job Description-

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Azure SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting our cloud-based SQL Server databases hosted in Microsoft Azure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our data platform, working closely with developers, data engineers, and other IT teams to maintain optimal database performance and availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in SQL Database Administration, with at least 4 years of experience in managing Azure SQL Databases.
• Strong experience with SQL Server (2012 or higher), including database configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL, with experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with Azure services, including Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance, Azure Virtual Machines, and related monitoring and management tools.
• Familiarity with Azure Networking and security features (VNET, VPN, firewall rules, RBAC, etc.).
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) or equivalent certifications preferred
