The Azure Network Engineer will:
- Be responsible for managing network infrastructures on Microsoft Azure
- Plan, deploy, and configure virtual networks, subnets, and VPN gateways to support cloud-based applications and workloads.
- Manage Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Application Gateways to monitor and secure network traffic.
- Implement Azure network security best practices, including firewall configurations, DDoS protection, and encryption protocols.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Azure network issues
- Configure and monitor load balancers, express routes, and virtual WAN for optimal traffic flow and application performance.
- Integrate on-premises network with Azure cloud environment using VPN or ExpressRoute for hybrid network models.
- Maintain thorough documentation on network configurations, diagrams, and processes.
- Implement networking best practices, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Azure networking.
- Expertise in Azure Virtual Networks, NSGs, and virtual Firewall.
- Expertise in Cisco routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of network security best practices
- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
- Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
