As an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Smartbridge, you will have the opportunity to:
- Interact with customers and Smartbridge sponsors and delivery teams (including partners) focused on solving mission-critical business and technology problems and provide solutions which center on the consumption of the Azure Platform
- Execute technical feasibility assessments, solution estimations and proposal development for moving identified workloads to Azure
- Develop technical and security specifications for the targeted applications/workloads in Azure
- Develop a migration approach to move workloads from on-premises to Azure or develop new cloud-ready application solutions
- Lead and mentor medium to large sized teams in the migration workloads or implementations of application and services to the cloud in large enterprise environments
- Document and share technical best practices and insights with the Customer and Smartbridge community, contributing to Smartbridge repository of intellectual property
- Strategize, plan, and execute business development.
- Engage with Smartbridge technology leaders and solutions experts to deliver cutting edge solutions to clients.
- Expand Smartbridge portfolio of solutions and professional services in the local geography.
- Maintain and grow client relationships.
- Induce solutions and ideas to help clients improve their business performance.
- Work in an entrepreneurial environment with a high level of senior management access.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance Azure cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and objectives.
- Manage and optimize Azure resources, including VMs, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL, storage accounts, and networking components
- Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure by implementing industry-standard security practices, tools, and technologies.
- Experience with gathering requirements. Create infrastructure design / architecture for the proposed solution, and communicate the same with the client.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and PowerShell scripts.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure efficient operation
- Knowledge of Azure Security components such as Azure Security Center, Security Operations, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Azure Solution Architect
- Exposure to DevOps and Agile engineering practices
- Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, RedisCache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers)
- Design and implement advanced functions of Office 365 and/or Azure AD Premium including security, governance and compliance
- Design and implementation of ADFS identity solutions for more than Microsoft Office 365
- Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, HA/DR considerations
- Experience in Active Directory, Azure Identity Management and Azure AD Premium
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps best practices.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and support for cloud-related issues to internal teams.
- Stay current with Azure services and technologies, evaluating new features and tools to enhance our cloud infrastructure.
- Virtualization, Networking, Storage, Security configuration and management
- Provide second level support for issues related to compute, network and storage on Azure

Minimum education qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field
Certifications (recommended)
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert Microsoft Certification or another associate level certification would be an added advantage
