Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure CloudOps Infrastructure Backup & Identity Specialist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud operations, infrastructure management, backup solutions, and identity management. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of their Azure cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Azure Cloud Operations:

  • Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability.

  • Implement and maintain best practices for Azure resource provisioning, configuration, and optimization.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.

  • Stay abreast of the latest Azure updates and technologies to enhance the efficiency of cloud operations.

• Backup Solutions:

  • Design, implement, and manage backup and recovery solutions for Azure-based workloads and data.

  • Develop and maintain backup policies, schedules, and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.

  • Perform regular backup testing and validation to guarantee the recoverability of critical systems and data.

  • Troubleshoot backup failures and optimize backup processes for efficiency.

• Identity Management:

  • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) for user authentication and authorization.

  • Ensure secure and seamless access to Azure resources by configuring and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) policies.

  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce identity-related security controls and compliance requirements.

  • Provide expertise in managing Azure Active Directory identities, groups, and roles.

• Automation and Scripting:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other relevant tools to streamline repetitive tasks and ensure consistency.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate the deployment and configuration of Azure resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in Azure cloud operations, infrastructure management, and backup solutions.

• Strong expertise in Azure Active Directory and identity management.

• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar.
