Job Description:
- Partner with other Architecture teams to develop solution designs and review alternative solutions for best fit.
- Strategize with customers to develop solutions based on a variety of criteria including a clear description of services, functionality, scalability, future-proofing, and cost.
- Leads pre-production readiness efforts, POCs, lab testing, and knowledge transfer; worked with engineering teams to accelerate software delivery.
- Implement cloud computing architecture solutions that address cloud security and compliance fundamentals, deployment automation and elastic sizing of environments, and multi-tenant implications.
- Delivering Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service solutions using Azure and open source technologies such as Puppet and Jenkins.
- Adapts to changing priorities and thrive in very dynamic environment with multi stakeholders from multiple lines of businesses that may having competing needs.
- Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in the area of cloud security
- Strong verbal/written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.
- Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work.
- Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans.
- Experience designing, implementing, and operating secure architecture and reference architectures in public cloud.
- Extensive working knowledge of Azure products and services
- Experience in full life-cycle of software development using Agile methodologies
- Experience with Containerization e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with implementing, deploying, and operating big-data platform within an enterprise production environment.
- Experience in any of the following programming languages - PHP, Python, Go, JavaScript.
- Expertise in core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, network routing, and security group/firewall management.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management systems, CI/CD pipelines.
- Operational experience working with large, highly available, transactional systems on Azure.
- Experience using large scale monitoring, logging platforms like ELK Stack, Splunk, DataDog and be able to analyze and debug production issues.
- Detailed understanding of secure network and application design concepts and a demonstrated ability to integrate security tools with IT infrastructure such as proxies, mail servers, Active Directory, Identity and Access controls, workstations and mobile devices.
- Experience with scripting desired: PowerShell, Shell, Python, Javascript and development background a plus
- Experience producing technical assets or writing technical documentation.
- CCSP, Azure certifications preferred
Education: Bachelor's Degree
