Job Title: AWS Data Architect

Key Skills

-they are developing own data lake - this person would contribute to the data lake - understanding data lake from business, how is data structure in the data lake
-develop best practices for implementing data governance for the data lake
-act as a consultant across the business units

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
*AWS Experience*
A Bachelor's Degree in a technology area of study; preferably in Computer Science, MIS or Analytics
7+ years equivalent work experience in Information Technology
5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Architecture and/or Data Warehousing; preferably in a shared or enterprise data environment
5+ years direct experience in Data Modeling and Data Solution Development. Excellent knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.
5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).
2+ years of experience in Asset Management and/or financial services
Knowledge in semantic data modeling a plus
SQL Query development skills for analyzing and profiling data
Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies Waterfall and Agile
Deep expertise in data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to quickly learn and adapt modeling methods from case studies or other proven approaches
