AWS Cloud Systems Administrator

Shift is M-F 3pm – 11pm

Program Mission: Our Client is working with the Army Military Intelligence (MI) program to support the overall strategy and migration to evaluate and potentially re-invent how Army MI delivers IT services and the use of Intelligence data and analytics to meet mission requirements

Contract Duration

new 5 year award

Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Required. Potential flexibility for someone who has a Top Secret clearance only with no SCI eligibility.

Contract/Perm: Perm

Location: On-site 5x per week in Charlottesville, VA (TBD if we are able to open this up to Alexandria, VA – this is NOT confirmed yet)

Interview Process: 2 Rounds 1) 30 min video interview with client 2) 45 min video interview with Prime

Salary: $140k - $160k

Other notes:

• This resource will support the infrastructure team who is trying to provision infrastructure, but does not have specific permissions. This resource will assist in granting permissions. Additionally, this resources will be fixing ad hoc Tenant requests that pop up, some cyber security vulnerability issues.

Position Overview/Responsibilities:

The Cloud Systems Administrator will be responsible for fulfilling Tier 1-3 Tenant requests to include monitoring operational environments, provisioning Tenant VPCs, configuring roles, addressing tenant access requests, and escalating service requests as required.

Experience/Qualifications:

• 3+ years supporting operations and maintenance for secure information management systems, including monitoring network
• availability and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability and network security measures
• 1+ year experience with scripting languages including Bash, Ansible, or YAML
• 3+ years experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces
• 1+ year experience with Amazon Web Services, containers
• 1+ year experience with the Windows Operating System and Active Directory
• Ability to work shifts (3pm-11pm), including nights, weekends, and some holidays, as necessary
• DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
