AVP, Digital & Sales Analytics
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and managing the measurement and analytics framework to support Sales & Marketing campaigns. This includes building and leading the implementation of reporting, dashboards, and process to measure outcomes across channels.
- The role will be responsible for the measurement of paid media and website performance as well as harnessing first party data to tell a more complete story around our communication efforts
- Tracks and analyzes large amounts of data to discover meaningful insights and trends that inform priorities and strategy.
- Assesses and understands Sales & Marketing measurement and reporting gaps to lead the development of a roadmap and plan for improvement.
- Actively participates in user experience research initiatives, such as usability studies, consumer persona research, etc.
- Responsible for analytical process for data analysis and reporting.
- Leverages visualization tools and techniques to support insights and recommendations.
- Establishes a common language and definitions of metrics to enable measurement across channels.
- Uses a consistent framework, tools, and methods of measurement.
- Tests and optimizes marketing campaigns that allows for learning over time.
- Ensures accuracy and eliminate gaps in the data collection/reporting methods.
- Oversees and manages tag governance to ensure web analytics and mobile analytics data is accurate and actionable.
- Leads a team of analysts ensuring they have the information and skills needed to support the analytical needs of the Credit Union.
- Provides strategic direction to mature our analytical capabilities by improving resource skill sets and processes in step with technology and data investments.
- Ensures adherence to standards and practices. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organizations Values.

- The AVP, Digital and Sales Analytics reports to the SVP of Sales Analytics & Email Marketing
- The role has 2 peers- an AVP Digital Marketing, an VP Marketing
- The role manages 3 employees - a manager of marketing analytics and 2 market research analysts.
- The marketing team is a team of 32
- Assess and understand current state of measurement and reporting. This will encompass marketing campaigns, website optimization and new product sales. As a part of this assessment, the individual will identify gaps, work to prioritize the gaps and develop a roadmap/timeline for closing the gaps. This includes understanding our use of Tableau for dashboard visualizations, Marketing Cloud Intelligence (aka Datorama), and Adobe Analytics workspaces.
- Assessing our implementation of Adobe Analytics. Identifying any gaps, implementing a strategy for its usage and developing documentation for ongoing management of the platform
- Oversees and manages tag governance to ensure web analytics and mobile analytics data is accurate and actionable.
- Working in partnership with Digital Services and Creative Brand team to establish a process and ongoing cadence of website optimization.
- A requirement is that they have prior experience with digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, preferably both and prior experience with implementing one of these platforms would be a bonus.
- An early objective for this role is to optimize our paid media campaigns and stay on top of the latest analytical technologies and methodologies for the paid channels.

- Salary: $150k-$200k + 15% bonus target, + $8, 000 exec allowance, + Retirement savings through our traditional and Roth 401(k) plan. SSFCU will contribute 2% of eligible pay per pay period and double up to the first 4% you contribute to the 401(k) for a total employer contribution of up to 10% of eligible compensation per pay period, subject to IRS contribution limits + 26 days Paid Time Off including paid PTO, sick, mental health, personal holidays and volunteer days.
Requirements
- 10+ yearsexperience in statistics, digital/marketing analytics, decision science, data science or equivalent quantitative education or experience.
- Previous leadership experience with the ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of professionals.
- 5+ years in digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, as well as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions. Proficiency in data science and analytics platforms such as SQL, R, Python, etc.
- Various digital platforms and technologies experience such as Javascript.
- Strong attention to detail and drawing conclusions from data.
- Strong process management skills with the ability to self-motivate and prioritize efforts among multiple projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing peers and executives.
