Your Responsibilities:
1. Supervise, direct, and train avionics personnel in order to maintain a profitable operation.
2. Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the avionics department so as to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency.
3. Responsible for making necessary overhaul manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives and other technical data available to employees.
4. Responsible for maintaining customer documentation through the department administrator.
5. Provide customer quotes and bids for all work performed while providing excellent customer service.
6. Troubleshoot and assist in maintenance problems.
7. Ensure that all equipment and tools are in a serviceable and working condition.
8. Responsible for ensuring that all work records are properly executed by personnel.
9. Preserve and ensure the proper handling of all units/parts while in the avionics shop.
10. Various other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- 10+ years of Avionics experience preferred.
- 5+ years in general aviation avionics supervisor/management environment or related aviation experience
- Two or four-year college degree in business or related field preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must possess strong written and verbal skills
- Possess exceptional internal and external customer service skills
