Responsibilities
- Communicating production status or relevant information to the customer
- Producing various reports including:
- Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) lists
- Production status
- Risk Reports
- Tracking of BFE location & quality during its lifetime in facility
- Investigation of the source of confirmed errors/issues
- Proactive risk prevention by noticing errors that may impact scheduling/production and communicating that to the customer

Responsibilities (in addition to the standard OSR)
- Perform detailed quality inspections
- Notice product issues/variances from the accepted standard or spec
- Identify weaknesses to performance before issues occur
- Create & submit detailed reports & documents including:
- Production status
- Risk reports
- Product inspection reports
- BFE parts receiving
- BOM
- Commitment letter
- Any information relevant to customer programs
- Work collaboratively with all relevant parties (suppliers, sub-suppliers, customer team, facility managers, program leads, etc.) to mitigate risks and solve issues that have already matured.
